In Tel Aviv Marijuana fell from the sky

Two local sellers of CBD decided to organize an extraordinary advertising campaign by pouring marijuana bags on the citizens.

It was reported that there was dropped over a hundred bags of free marijuana into the streets of the city using a drone. People just gathered them on the road and sidewalks. Each package included a business card with the name of the delivery service, contacts and the “Free love” inscription.

As a reminder, on April 1, 2019, Israel has passed a law which partially decriminalizes the use of marijuana. According to the new rules, 10 grams of cannabis is now allowed to be stored at home, but it is prohibited to consume it outdoors. These rules do not apply to military personnel and prisoners. They still have criminal liability. Minor offenders will be sent to rehabilitation.

Since 1994, Israel has allowed using marijuana with the permission of a doctor for people who suffer from cancer, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, chronic pain or post-traumatic stress disorder. The country has become a world leader in medical marijuana research.

Criminal prosecution can start if the law is violated three times. In this case, the offender will be able to pay a fine, refuse to carry weapons or a driver’s licence. Israel became the first state in the Middle East to decriminalize marijuana use.
